Transdisciplinary Journal of Ecology and Humanities is an international, peer-reviewed, open access academic journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship and transdisciplinary practices at the intersection of ecological sciences and the humanities. The journal provides a forum for critical inquiry into the complex relationships between human societies and ecological systems, bringing together perspectives from ecology, environmental science, philosophy, anthropology, cultural studies, history, arts, ethics, and related fields.
In an era marked by accelerating socio-environmental change, biodiversity loss, biocultural homogenization, and socio-ecological transformation, understanding ecological phenomena requires not only scientific analysis but also humanistic reflection on values, meanings, histories, and lived experience. The journal responds to this need by fostering dialogues across disciplinary boundaries and encouraging integrative approaches to environmental knowledge and practices.
